BLUESCOPE STEEL has developed APEX™ prepainted steel as an economical roofing and walling option for projects that require a more cost effective prepainted steel solution.

APEX™ steel combines the corrosion resistance of its aluminium/zinc alloy coated substrate steel with a fit for purpose paint system. APEX™ prepainted steel is an ideal material to be used for roofing and walling applications in industrial, commercial and residential projects that require cost effective solutions.

Easy to maintain, APEX prepainted steel is available in seven colours and is thermally efficient. This product is commonly used for roofing and walling applications in medium to low end industrial, commercial projects and residential houses. Lead and copper are not recommended for use with APEX™ steel as contact with these metals can cause accelerated corrosion. Over-painting is not recommended too.
