CARLISLE’S HP-250 Primer and SECURTAPE are applied to EPDM FLEECEBACK membranes in a factory-controlled setting, ensuring reliable and above-average peel and shear strengths, with no entrapped bubbles. Consistent placement of the SECURTAPE also maximises the splice area by controlling the placement within + or - 1/8 inch (0.3 cm).

 

SECURTAPE improves seaming productivity by nearly 50 % and addresses the roofing industry’s biggest challenge – the shortage of labour. This means completing projects faster, improving the ability to get ‘buildings in the dry’ in less time and minimising business disruption. Less material to load on to the roof reduces the concern about material waste and disposal.

 

Factory-applied SECURTAPE is available on all EPDM FLEECEBACK membranes. Either 3 inch (7.6 cm) or 6 inch (15 cm) SECURTAPE can be specified for SURE-SEAL FLEECEBACK membranes to accommodate various warranty or design criteria.
