POLY-VINYL chloride (PVC), a chemical compound of chlorine, carbon and hydrogen, has been used widely for 70 years. Characteristics that make it an especially useful building material when enhanced by other materials that improve its chemical and mechanical characteristics: shock-proof component (impact resistance), stabiliser component that prevents degradation of materials during extrusion, calcium carbonate component that improves the mechanical characteristics of profiles, and a titanium dioxide component that renders PVC opaque (PVC is naturally transparent).

PVC does not need any maintenance work and has a good insulating coefficient because it has properties such as its workability, lightness, dimensional stability and resistance to fire (self-extinguishing). Fascina PVC is brilliant, consistent and is considered one of the most stable profiles in the market today. Using a formulation of uPVC (unplasticised PVC), Fascina combines energy-saving homogeneous components to produce special windows and doors of high quality that will ensure colour-fastness, impact resistance, highly polished finishing, stability as well as other USPs.
